Mad Max(es) - ink/digital - 2014

Since I’m on the topic of prequels that’ll never exist - and because I really enjoyed that recent MAD MAX: FURY ROAD trailer - I was thinking it’d be nice to see how Tom Hardy’s new Max came across Mel Gibson‘s old one. (Obviously, this takes place before the latter loses his eye.) There’s a not-so-subtle metaphor in there somewhere as well.

Who knows, maybe there’s a whole series of unknown adventures involving the two of them before the beat-up Interceptor is finally passed on to its new owner.

All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos, ruined dreams, this wasted land. But most of all, I remember the road warrior, the man we called Max. 217/365
